Therapy Dogs

Today we got to meet the therapy dogs. They will come to listen to us read once a month. Earlier in the day we practiced reading our books. After lunch we each got a turn to go to the library and read our book to one of the dogs. This was great fun! We can't wait for the dogs to return next month. 

We'd like to send a great big Thank You to Mrs. Blizzard, our Speech Therapist, for arranging this special treat for all of our first graders. We'd also like to thank the dog handlers for volunteering their time and sharing their dogs with us.
