Happy Halloween
We had a GREAT day!
Thanks to all who sent treats - the children really enjoyed them.
Thanks to parents who posed for pictures with their children.
Don't forget to thank our crossing guard the next time you see him - he gave every child a treat and works hard to keep the children safe as the cross the street.
If you missed the parade here are some pictures. They won't all fit in one post so please look at the others too.

Brain Breaks
Has your child told you about brain breaks yet? Brain breaks are short childrens' videos, often with music, that the children move along with the characters on the screen. These breaks give first graders a chance to get their wiggles out. They also help us with our listening and following directions skills. You can find brain breaks to do at home by doing a search for them on YouTube. This is how they look in our classroom.
Guest Reader
On Friday one of our boy's older sister came down from her fourth grade classroom and read Green Eggs And Ham to us. She was wonderful! After reading the story she even stayed and answered our questions about the story. Here are some pictures.
